Meet Dani, the “Tough Cookie”

Certified Fitness Trainer
and Personal Coach

Over the course of my life, I have always been involved in fitness. From competitive swimming, to rugby, to Kickboxing and Boxing, I have always lived an active lifestyle and considered fitness to be a staple in my life. My parents instilled and supported being active by modeling and enrolling my brother and I in sports. I remember this one time, my mom was dragging me out for a run in the neighborhood. I cried, wailed and protested the entire time, but I went through the “run”. I now remember that moment as pivotal because my mom not only was trying to prioritize her own health and wellness while managing two kids and a career, but also reminding me that sometimes, we do it because it’s part of daily life, not because we are motivated to do it. I am a strong believer that we are built to move.

I have been an educator for over 9 years. I taught women’s fitness Kickboxing and programmed nutrition and fitness for children. 4 years ago, I began my own journey to compete in amateur boxing and heal my relationship with food. I realized the highlight of my day was educating and supporting people through fitness and nutrition. As a lifelong learner, I continued my education with courses through NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) for nutrition, coaching and I am an elite certified personal trainer with a specialization in body building. My coaches at PHX began mentoring me and hired me to be part of the team.

My Vision

My goal is to help support as many women as I can to prioritize their health and wellness. I hope to be a part of a positive movement to guide them on a journey that will change their lives forever. The reason I specialized in body building was not to support competitors, but to apply the techniques to everyday women. Women who want to become strong in their skin and build a body they feel confident, sexy and proud of.

I want women to know it isn’t selfish to take care of yourself. Fuelling your body well and healing your relationship with food is possible and achievable! I want to help women learn to move their bodies in a way that makes them happy, builds longevity and durability to move well for life.. You are deserving and worthy to be well mentally, physically and spiritually.
